Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at HSC with loving family Ernest Joseph Kennedy at age 96 is predeceased by his parents Agnes and Patrick Kennedy, his wife and mother of his children Theresa and his loving wife Helen. Brothers, Charles, Jack, Matthew, and Bernard. And Sadly his three sons, Billy, Johnny, and Bobby.
Left to mourn his passing, his children, Gerald Kennedy (Lillian), Agnes Dodge (Aubrey), Don Kennedy (Paula), Ernie Kennedy (Trudy), Daphne Everson (Vance) and Ron Kennedy (Sharon). Grandchildren Darryl, Eugene, Jennifer, Tiffany, Jonathon, Melissa, Robert and his loving Great Grandchildren, Landon and Lily Kennedy, Eugene Andy and Jessica Morgan, and Ella and Sophie Osmond. He will be sadly missed by his nephew Pat, and nieces Brenda and Marilyn.
A very special thank you to the staff of Neville’s Retirement Home, St.Marys, Trepassey Retirement Home, Alderwood Estates, Witless Bay, for the many years of care and compassion. As well as the staff of the 4th floor at St.Patricks Mercy Home. Thank you for your kindness and care. Another special thank you to Sharon Kennedy, for her love and care over the many years, Ernie taught the world of her and loved her like a daughter.
As many would say he was a big gentle man with a big heart. You will be fondly remembered and missed by all that knew you. Smooth sailing on your last voyage. We love you Dad, Pop, and Great Pop.
