At the Garden Home on Sunday September 27, 2020 of Eric Scott
Taylor formerly of Cornwall and Borden-Carleton aged 94 years. Veteran
of the Second World War. Born in Freetown, January 12, 1926
son of the late Ernest and Wiona (Reeves) Taylor. Husband of
the late Georgie (Sobey) Taylor. Father of Linda
(David) Ramsay and Ivan (Florence) Taylor. Grandfather of
Barbara (Walter) Vessey, Anthony (Lisa) Ramsay, Delisa Taylor-Robinson
(Don Robinson), Roxanne (Mark) Eldridge and Ian (Kara)
Taylor. Great-grandfather of Jennifer, Christen (Jeff),
Mechala, Tanisha (Jordan), Kierra, Aren, Danielle and Emily.
Great-great-grandfather of Declan, Jayden and
Christopher.
Sister Marion MacMurdo. Also remembered by
sisters-in-law Irene Taylor, Ruth Murray (Peter Gallant) and
Stella Sobey.
Predeceased by his great grand-daughter Keyanne Lee Ramsay,
Sisters and brothers Mae (Harold) Champion, Olga (Walter) Duggan, Lee
(Carol) Taylor, Ivan Taylor, Ernestine (Willard) Hogg, Phyllis (Jack)
Lister, Edgar Taylor, brothers-in-law Robert
MacMurdo, Ray and Lorne Sobey, Hillard Murray and
sister-in-law Verna Sobey.
Resting at the Davison
Funeral Home Kensington. Due to Covid 19 restrictions no public
visitation will be held. A private family funeral will be
available to view online after 10 Wednesday on the Funeral
Home’s website. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery,
Crapaud. If so desired contributions may be made to the
Quuen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, The Crapaud Gospel Hall Cemetery
or a charity of your choice.
