TOOPE, Eric – Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, Eric Toope of Come By Chance, aged 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Alphaeus and Winnifred Toope; siblings Norman, Printzline Cope, Nathaniel, Rosamond Wiseman; Lindsey, Marilyn Ballett, Nellie Blundon and Maxwell. Left with fond and loving memories his sister Sybil (late David Goldsworthy); sisters-in-law Linda Toope and Florence Toope; many nieces; nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Come By Chance on Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, January 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Come By Chance with interment to follow at Interfaith Cemetery, Come By Chance. In his memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Come By Chance.
