Geoffrion, Emese (Nee Biro)
Emese Geoffrion (nee Biro) passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 20, 2020 at the young age of 50. She passed as the orange purple hues spilled into the horizon at the Juravinski Hospital, fittingly overlooking her beautiful hometown of Hamilton, ON.
She leaves with heavy hearts her beloved family Erika, Alexandra, Maxim, and Marc. She was the loving daughter of Irene and Joe Biro, beloved sister of Joey (Lisa) Biro, and dear aunt to Samantha, Deanna and Stephen. She joins her late aunt and good friend, Helen Tobias.
Emese spent most of her adult life taking care of others, first as a Registered Nurse and teacher, and as mother and wife. Her kindness was evident in every aspect of her work.
Emese faced chordoma cancer head on, never faltering or giving up hope after repeated beatings. However difficult it was to watch her struggles, her strength shone through. This spilled over to her children, for her strength also lives in them and will continue to shine forever.
Although she will be dearly missed, Emese’s spirit of love and kindness will continue through her friends and family.
Cremation services have been held and a Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
