Peacefully at Broadview Nursing Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday April 26, 2020. Elsa Murton of Elgin, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of Ab Emmons. Loving mother of Doug Emmons (Barbara Shaw) of Chelsea, P.Q., Bev (Terry) Smith of Inverary and Wanda (Darwin) Seward of Elgin. Predeceased by sisters; Bessie (Clifford) Gorr, Marjorie (Wilbur) McColl , Elfleda (Homer) Watson and by brothers; Douglas and Ronald (Marilyn-surviving) Murton. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Sarah (Paul), Adam (Brittany), Melanie (Trevor), Jennifer and Steven (Jessica) as well as 11 great-grandchildren. As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to Elgin United Church would be appreciated.
