Ella’s Obituary
Lockhart, Ella Mae – 90, Westchester, passed away Monday, November 16th, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Wallace Bridge, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Lucille (Vincent) Langille. Ella was a member of the South Victoria United Church. She was a great supporter of community events and activities. Ella loved having her family around for special events and loved hosting everyone at her home. She is survived by her son, Winston (Marie), Truro; brother, Ken (Bonnie) Langille, Malagash; sisters,; Shirley White, Pugwash; Leona (Michael) Sachs, Halifax; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl; son, Perry; infant son, James; sisters, Margaret Knight, Muriel Latta and Jessie Ferdinand; infant sister, Marguerite; daughter in law, Joyce Lockhart. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, November 19 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (902-447-2930). A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m, Friday, November 20 in Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. Memorial donations may be made to Riverside Cemetery or to the Westchester Fire Dept.
