Memorial Donation
Suddenly on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Mount Sinai Hospital, in Toronto, in her 71st year. Born and raised in St. John’s, NL, Libby graduated from nursing school in 1970. She worked for several years as a registered nurse in Halifax and St. John’s before becoming a full time mom. She continued in that role until the family relocated to Oakville when she again resumed her nursing career at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2010.
Left to mourn are: Ralph, her loving husband of 48 years; her wonderful children Christina Perry (Ben) and David; her loving siblings Daphne (George), Tolson (Mary), Glenna (Russ) and David (Tina); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street, 905-844-2600) from 7 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
