Elizabeth Lee March 15 2020

Elizabeth’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Sunday Evening, March 15, 2020, at The Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St. John’s, Elizabeth Lee (nee Comerford), of Riverhead, St. Mary’s Bay, in her 95th year. She is predeceased by her husband Dermot, two sons Vincent and Harry and sisters Mary Barron and Rose Stamp. Leaving to morn her sons: Dermot, Gus, Luke, Eugene and their families, daughters-in-Laws Rosenia Lee and Barbara Whelan and their families, as well as her many other relatives and special friends. We want to sincerely thank everyone who was so good to her, including a special thank you to the staff at Alderwood Estates as well as The Veterans’ Pavilion for the wonderful care and support you provided. Due to limitations imposed resulting from the coronavirus outbreak, there will be no visitation or Funeral Mass scheduled at this time. Since our church in Riverhead and The Legion meant so much to her, there will be a Mass and graveside prayer service, followed by a nice gathering at our Legion for all her family and many, many friends at a time to be announced later this summer to celebrate her wonderful life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the St. Joseph the Worker Church or to R.C. Legion, Branch 62, Riverhead, SMB.
