Elizabeth Ann Higby Friday February 14th 2020

Elizabeth Ann Higby
Elizabeth Ann Higby was born in Yarmouth February 10,1963 to Rosalie Pearl and John Clark (Jack) Higby, and peacefully left us on February 14, 2020 at Villa St. Joseph du Lac, Dayton. Despite health issues which imposed limits on what she could do, Ann had a wicked sense of humor and was very artistic, a skill which she developed through her life with a special eye for color. Her favorite place in her early years was the family cottage in Lake Annis, where she enjoyed feeding the chipmunks and watching the animals. She is survived by her parents; an aunt, Vera Sollows; cousins, John, (Nhung); David (Judy); Stephen (Janet); and Celia Sollows (Rory); lifelong friend, Shelley MacEwen and special friend, Jules Doucette. Heartfelt thanks to the Villa St. Joseph du Lac staff for their wonderful care and kindnesses over the past 11 years. There will be no funeral at this time. Cremation has been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Private burial will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Ann can be made to the Villa St Joseph du Lac or the IWK Hospital.Online condolences may be made to sweenysfh@eastlink.ca or you may sign the guestbook online at www.sweenysfuneralhome.net
