Elise’s Obituary
DEVEAU, Elise Mary – age 92, Little Dolphin Boarding Home, Mavillette, Digby Co., formerly of Springdale, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born February 25, 1928 in Belleville, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter of the late Rémi and Mary (Muise) Frotten. Elise was a homemaker and was very devoted in her Catholic faith and she enjoyed taking bus tours to Ste-Anne de Beaupré. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Deveau, Springdale; grandchildren, Kelly Anne Power, Tammy Lynn Power, both of Springdale; Amanda Dawn Power, Hebron; Kimberly Louise Deveau, Springdale and great grandchildren, Michael Power, Travis Power and twins, David and Brayden Reid. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Deveau; brothers, Bernard and Peter; sisters, Julie and Gertrude and a niece, Geraldine. A private interment will take place at St-Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Salmon River. The family wishes to thank Shelly, Donnie and all of the staff at Little Dolphin for the wonderful and loving care they showed Elise throughout her stay with them. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the St-Vincent de Paul Cemetery or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M.
