Obituary of Eleanor Hare
HARE, Christena Eleanor peacefully at Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen Sound Friday July 17, 2020. Eleanor Hare (nee Lynch) of Owen Sound and formerly of Tara in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Scarrow and the late W.R ‘Bunny’ Hare. Cherished mother of Jane Berry of Kitchener and mother-in-law of Gwen Scarrow of Tara. Loving grandmother of David, Chris, Shannon, Mark, Sally and Kent and great grandmother of many. Predeceased by parents Mary (nee Wardrop) and James Lynch, son Harvey Scarrow, sisters Beatrice Ceaser, Melvina Armstrong, Birdie Louella Lynch, Margaret Schroeder and, Myrtle Herman and brothers Edgar, Bill, Harold and Allan. Eleanor and her late husband Joe owned and operated the Scarrow Funeral Home in Tara for many years. A graveside service will be conducted from Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. In compliance with the Covid-19 regulations, attendance will be limited to 100 people and all those attending will be required to wear a mask and practise social distancing. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
