It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Eleanor Proznick (Stadnyk).
Eli was born in Sheho, Saskatchewan on August 4, 1938.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 61 years Leon, her son Bill (Dena), grandchildren Gussie, Brendyn & Madison, son in law Donald Ruszkowski, grandchildren Dustin and Dallas Ruszkowski. Sister Marcella Jansen (Sandra, Terry & Brad), Brother Bill (Stadnyk) and many other loving relatives & friends.
Eleanor was predeceased by her wonderful daughter Lori, mother Irene Stadnyk (Melynchuk), father William Stadnyk and brother in law Leonard Jansen.
Besides time with her precious family, over the years Eleanor enjoyed her time at Pinders drugs, then moved on to real estate sales. Before retiring she enjoyed many summers at Waskesiu Lake operating Bakers General Store, working at the art gallery and then operating her own business Fountain Gifts. Eleanor had an eclectic taste for art, music and travels.
Her kind, non judgemental soul, will be truly missed, but we know she has met up with her “Spirit in the Sky” (One of her favourite songs) and the lessons she has taught us (Teach your Children Well – another favourite) will be forever cherished.
Rest easy now Mom, your work is accomplished here.
