Peacefully, passed away at Health Sciences North, Sudbury
on Saturday February 22nd, 2020 with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Luigi Mearini predeceased. Loving mother of John Mearini (wife Monique) and Rita Robertson (husband John). Cherished grandmother of Heather (Jay), Sarah (Mark) and Jessica (Mike), Miranda and Jordan (Kara), Tina (Jesse). Great grandchildren Brooklynn, Kieran, Addison, Raegan, Owen and Meagan. Dear daughter of Angelo and Angelina (Baldelli) Giardini both predeceased. Dear sister of Albert (wife Carmela) of Toronto and Nino (wife Anne) both predeceased. Dear sister in-law of Luisa Mengoni (husband Ubaldo) both predeceased, Marina Mengoni (husband Armando) predeceased, Emilia Mearini, Ida Cardoni (husband Dolfo) both predeceased. Special aunt to Jordan. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews.
Elba will be remembered as a very kind and good person who enjoyed socializing with relatives and friends. A woman of faith she lived the lessons taught by Jesus to love God and love your neighbour. She spent many happy times at the family camp on Manitoulin Island. She was devoted to her family, especially her precious grandchildren. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
