Peacefully at the Sherwood Park Manor in Brockville on Friday, May 1, 2020. Elaine Stitt (nee Barkley) of Cardinal at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Roger Stitt of Cardinal. Loving mother of Randy and his wife Kelly of Cardinal. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother of Justine (Darryl) Dake and Krystin (Tyler) Brennan and Parker and Abigail Dake all of Cardinal. Dear sister of Wayne Barkley (Carolyn), Linda Casselman (Ron), Marlene Sutherland and Joanne Cook (Larry). Predeceased by her sisters Marion, Shirley and Beverly Survived by her sisters-in-law Corrinne Miller and Mary Stitt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Due to Covid 19 at private family service will be held at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal. Thanks to the wonderful caring staff at the Sherwood Park Manor who took great care of Elaine over these past ten years. Donations to the Sherwood Park Manor would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cardinal.
