It is with profound sadness that the family of Elaine announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Beloved wife of Abe for sixty-five years. Treasured and deeply loved mother of Sharon Kaufman, and the late Elliot Kaufman. Cherished and devoted nanny of Hayley Shrier and Mitchell Leibovitch. The family would like to thank the CLSC Renee Cassin and The Palliative Care Team at Mt. Sinai Hospital for their compassionate care. A private graveside service will take place. Donations in Elaine’s memory may be made to “The Elliot Kaufman Memorial Fund” c/o Israel Cancer Research Fund, (514) 481-2723.
