Obituary of Eileen Karen Prevost
Eileen Karen Prevost, 74 of Kentville passed away peacefully on May 16, 2020 in Dykeland Lodge Nursing Home, after a five year battle with Dementia. Born in Geraldton, ON, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Finlayson) Davey.
“Mother loved her country music and Johnny Cash was one of your favorite singers. All of us children, will always remember her beautiful voice when she would sing us to sleep in our younger years.”
Eileen enjoyed going for walks and absolutely loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She loved cooking, making her homemade meat pies and perogies. She would relish in seeing her family and friends enjoy the delicious food Eileen would prepare.
She had a warm, kind and giving heart, always trying to assist her family and friends whenever possible. She was the strongest person her family has ever known and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
“Each mother is given the gift of time on this earth to live and to love… and to leave a Legacy!
