At the Maxville Manor on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Eileen vanBlankers (née Pateneaude) of Alexandria, formerly of Franklin Centre, Quebec; age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Jan “John” vanBlankers. Loving mother of Nancy Berube of Peterborough and Lori Lazette of Hawkesbury. Cherished grandmother of David and Melanie Berube and Stacey and Taylor Lazette. Dear sister-in-law of Jennie Maither (Bruce), Henry vanBlankers (Judy) and Ann vanBlankers. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Antoinette Patenaude (née Vaillancourt), her sister Bernice Dickenson (late George) and her brother Harold (late Nancy). Eileen will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, visitation and Memorial Service will be held once restrictions have been lifted, date and time to be announced. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
