Eileen Tate 2020

Obituary
TATE, Eileen
It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of our Aunt Eileen Tate, born to Lucy and William Tate on February 21, 1921 in Indian Head, SK. Eileen was predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Stillwell and Gladys Hall. In her 99 years she accomplished many things. Eileen was in partnership, with her sister, Phyllis running their bakery, The Little Pie Shop for over 42 years. Eileen joined Fellowship Lodge on April 19, 1939 at the age of 18, making her a valued Rebekah for over 80 years. Eileen was also a member of Regina IOOF Lodge #6. She held the office of Noble Grand of Fellowship several times and was also Noble Grand of Regina IOOF Lodge #6 for one year. She had the privilege to be Advisor for Fellowship and Triple Links Lodges and held the office of Financial Secretary as well as offices in other various positions. Eileen also served as Chaplin and as Marshall on the Rebekah Assembly of Saskatchewan Staff several times. Eileen also enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling, sewing and had a special place in her heart for poodles. There will be a Celebration of Her Life in Regina at a future date. Eileen will truly be missed by her family and friends. She is lovingly remembered by her niece Sharon Schwartz, great niece Patti Schwartz (Gary), great nephews Kyle (Cordell), Dallas (Bronwen) and great-great nephew Leo.
