1928-2020
With his family by his side, Edward Merton Sutthery of Arthurette, NB,
passed away peacefully at his home on November 3, 2020.
Edward was born in Licford, NB, on July 25, 1928. He was the son of
the late William and Olive (Lappage) Sutthery. Edward leaves behind
his children, Sally Tompkins (James) of Arthurette, NB, Gregory
Sutthery (Judy) of Fredericton, NB, Kyle Sutthery (Rhonda) of
Perth-Andover, NB; his grandchildren, Stephanie Sprague, Sabrina
Tompkins, Nicholas Sutthery, Mitchell Sutthery, Jillian Young, and
Abbey Sutthery; his great grandchildren, Brandon Sprague, Emily
Sprague, Rylan Sutthery, Bravery Sutthery, Noah Young, Teagan Babin;
his sister-in-law, Bertha Sutthery of Plaster Rock, NB, along with
several nieces and nephews.
Edward was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Marjory Sutthery
(Crawford); his sister, Frances Dyer; his brothers, John and Albert
Sutthery.
Respecting Edward’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held. A private graveside service will be held at St. Machutus
Anglican Cemetery. Mr. Kenneth Campbell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer
Assistance Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated
by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
