Edward Patrick Moore
Edward Patrick Moore (Ed) peacefully passed away in his 80th year on October 3, 2020 with his family by his side at Forest Valley Terrace in Orleans, Ontario.
Left to mourn and with precious memories are his loving wife of 56 years, Marg, his son Wayne (Jolene), his grandchildren Allan and Raquel, his siblings: John (Carmel), Carmel (Tom), Mike (Sharon), Mary (the late Daniel) Ellen (Bill), Marg, Sue (Chuck), sister-in-law Bernadette (Henry) and leaving countless loved nieces and nephews to numerous too mention.
Ed is predeceased by his mom and dad (Ellen and Michael) and his mother-in-law and father-in-law (Bride and Bob St. John).
Ed moved from Bell Island, Newfoundland in 1962 and found long-term employment with Canadian General Tower in Cambridge, Ontario for 40 years until his retirement in 2003. During his life, he truly enjoyed the people he met while playing hockey, golfing, travelling and bowling. He always extended a helping hand to those who were in need.
A private Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary of the Presentation, Chesterville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
