Edward Ed Dalton 2020

Obituary
It is with immense sadness that we announce Ed Dalton, 55, of Mount Pearl passed away suddenly on April 14th, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his wife and children.
He married Donna, his best friend of 39 years and love of his life, in 1991, who survives him. Ed is also survived by his children Matthew Dalton and Victoria Dalton (Taylor Driscoll) and by his pets whom he loved so much Teddy, Cooper, Chester, Bella, Cranberry and Puddin. Also leaving behind to mourn his mother Felicita Rogers; sisters: Laura Rogers (Alex) and Nancy Rogers; brother Donald Rogers; sister-in-law Janice Jeans; nieces: Vanessa, Raven, Shauna and Makayla. Predeceased by his father John Rogers (2002) and father-in-law Robert Jeans (2007).
The family would like to send a special thank you to Ed’s closest friends Boyd Ash, Robbie Greening, Gary Goulding and Rod Fraize who were there for him and his family, especially throughout the last 4 months, along with the doctors at the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the nurses on 4 North A for their endless support and kindness throughout Ed’s battle.
Due to the COVID-19 situation in our province, Ed will be cremated and brought home with his family with a small service to follow for close family and friends when it is safe to do so. The family insists that people make donations in support of stomach cancer research or to your local SPCA as he always loved animals, in lieu of sending flowers. “If love could of saved you, you would have lived forever.”
