Obituary of Edmund Daigle
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Edmund Joseph Daigle, husband of the late Dorothy (Wood) Beach-Daigle which occurred on Friday, February 7, 2020, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Minto, NB on June 13, 1943, a son of the late Alexander and Cecile (LeBlanc) Daigle.
He is survived by his son Garnet Daigle of Minto; daughter Wendy and her husband Russell of Sus; four stepdaughters: Stella Tingley of Sus, Heather and Phil of Hampton, Shelia and Rick Dyer of Sus, Florence and Bev MacDonald of St. Stephen; nine stepsons: David and Marjorie of Mount Middleton, Harold and Joanne of Penobsquis, Elias and Margo of Shediac, Ensley of Hunter’s Home, Walter and Kathy of St George, Beverly and Jane of Fredericton, Ralph and Lynn of Sudbury, ON, Burton and his wife Nila of Fredericton; four brothers: Ovila and his wife Diane of Ripples Corner, Simon and his wife Eva of Ripples Corner, Henry of Minto, Leon and his wife Audrey of Picadilly; one sister Elda and her husband Edward Gallant of Minto; seventeen grandchildren: several great-grandchildren: as well as several nieces and nephews. Edmund was predeceased by his brother, Armand.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176), from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. A Funeral Service celebrating Edmund’s life will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11:00AM from Wallace Community Chapel.
