1922-2020
ST-IGNACE, NB – Edith Richard 98, of St-Ignace
passed away peacefully at Foyer Bois Joli in Saint-Louis-de-Kent on
Friday, August 28, 2020. Born in St-Ignace, she was the
daughter of the late Frederick Richard and late Delphine (Maillet)
Richard.
Edith will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Yvonne
Richard of Moncton, Lauretta Richard (Alonzo) of St-Ignace, Denise
Richard (Robert Wood) of Kitchener, ON; four sons, Paul Richard (late
Alice Robichaud) of Rexton, Adrien Richard (Eva) of St-Ignace, Luc
Richard (Paulette) of St-Ignace, Alexandre Thebeau of Moncton; eleven
grandchildren, Gerald, Claude, Danielle, Darren, Ricky, Maurice,
Jean-Claude, Philip, Jacques, Marc, Guylaine; fifteen great
grandchildren and three great great
grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Norma Landry of Dieppe,
Dorice Daigle (late Leon) of St. Louis; one brother, Jean-Baptiste
Richard (Loretta) of St. Louis and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Albert Richard; two sons, Gerald, Zoel; one grandson, Michel; one
great grandson, Benoit; three sisters, Denise, Laurianne, Ursula and
two brothers, Alban and Ulysse.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday at 2:00 pm until time of the
service. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August
31, 2020 at 4:00 pm, St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church in
St-Ignace.
The family would like to thank the staff at Foyer Bois Joli
for the excellent care provided to our mother. Due
to COVID-19 restrictions there will be limited seating at the Funeral

reserve a seat.
