ATKIN GOODIS, Edith – Passed away quietly and peacefully on Sunday, December 27th, 2020, in her 101st year. Devoted wife of the late Archie Atkin and the late Norman Goodis. She was the cherished mother and mother-in-law of Andrea and Aubrey, Esther, and Leonard and Pearl. Role model Bubby of Joanna and Michael, Jonathan and Jessica, Joshua and Lainie, Jessica and Ross, Alexander, Joseph and Laura, and Benjamin and Nicole. Revered Bubby Edie to William, Spencer, Audrey, Isabel, Maxwell, Avery, Teddy, Jamie, Luke, Art, Yale, Theos, Aliyah and Ariana. Loved and respected by Rosalie and Ian, Tara and Ryan, Tyler, Abby, Maggie and Riley, Michael and Karen, Bari, Alan, Cody and Noa, Lyle, Susie, Ben and Aily and Mollie. Sister/in-law of Sandra, the late Ettie and Joe, Ann and Irving, Sara and Saul, Jimmy and Goldie, Donna, the late Freda and Jack, Sally, Youdie and Irving and Ken. Our mother lived a full and blessed life focused on family, friends, travel, fitness, a multitude of creative pursuits, and of course amazing food and celebrations. She inspired all who knew her. Our deepest gratitude to Dunfield management and staff, particularly of the Third Floor, for their exceptional devotion, attentive care and warm environment during the last 7 years of Mom’s life.
