EDITH ANN (OLDFORD) WHITE
1935 – 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Ann White (nee Oldford) announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on January 16, 2020 at the age of 84. Edith is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Florence Oldford, and brothers, Wilson Oldford and baby Pierce Oldford. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Leslie Wilbur White, sons, Leslie R. White (Jacqueline) of Medicine Hat, AB, Terry L. White of Millertown, NL, Robert M. White (Cathy) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Darren C. White of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and daughters, Dulcie L. (White) Anstey (Chris) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Linda (White) Pitcher of Cambridge, ON. Also leaving to mourn are her brothers, Harvey and Roy Oldford, special great-granddaughter, Tiffany Anstey-Barker, grandchildren, Christina, Ashley, Angeline, Leslie, Roslynn, Jason, Rodney, and Kyle, special friends, Yunu Oh of South Korea, Gloria White, Norma White, Dulcie Toms, Sharron Hobbs, and Dorothy Hobbs-Lindahl, neighbours, Gerard and Regina Murphy, and a large circle of friends, relatives, and great-grandchildren. Rev. Kim Waite will conduct the funeral service at the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery. Urn bearers will be Leslie White, Robert, Terry, and Darren White, Chris Anstey, and Gerard Murphy. Honorary pallbearer is Rodney White. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
