EATON – Marie M., 83, of Moose Harbour, Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 1, 2020.
Born in Brooklyn, Marie was a daughter of the late Robie and Barbara (Zwicker) Joudrey.
Marie was a former employee for Mersey Seafoods and Polar Bear Fisheries as a fish packer . She enjoyed doing crafts such as embroidery, knitting, sewing, crocheting and painting as well as cooking. She was an avid bingo and Kingo player and enjoyed shopping especially at Dollarama.
Marie is survived by her husband Charles; her daughters Vickie (Tim) Wolfe of Great Hill; Glenna (Jim) O’Brien of Lower Sackville; her sons Tony (Kathy) Dagley of Milton and Scott (Gwen) Oickle of Western Head. Her grandchildren Tyler Dagley (Kristin Lohnes), Jessica Dagley (Vernon Grant), Brittany Wolfe (Zeke Hunt), Krystie (Mike) Gatzke, Cody Whynot (Karen Dalby) and Todd Wolfe. Her great grandchildren Emmett Adams, Cohen Dagley and Mason Gatzke. Her brother Frank (Charlotte White) of Liverpool.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Ann Catterson; her two infant sons Frank and Terry Dagley and her sisters Shirley Lavender and Faye Horne.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Zion United Cemetery. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Queens General Hospital Foundation or the Queens General Hospital Dialysis Unit.
