On Monday September 28, 2020 Gerald Caseley of
Schurman’s Point passed away peacefully at the age of 85
years. He was born in Summerside January 6, 1935, son of the
late Floyd and Georgie (Montgomery) Caseley. Husband of Lois
(Bryenton) Caseley.
Father of Barbara, Carol (David Miller), Bonita and Georgie
(deceased).
Grandfather of Jonathon (Erica) Doucette, Tenessa
MacKenzie (Mark Hambly), Madeline (Adam) Ference. Tanya (Scott)
Nichols, Tiffany (Stephen) Ogborn, Keith (Taylor) Girard, Mitchell
Girard (Liana Sodonis), Tatiana Bryan and Mikaela Girard (Logan
Vandervelden).
Great-grandfather of Annika, Ashtyn, Ainsleigh, Aubree,
Roxanna, Nora, Mila, Holden, Royce, Callen, Ellie and
Isabella.
Brother of Miriam (Wilfred) Forbes. Brother-in-law
of Sandra Caseley, Erma Adams, Altheia Cousins, Verna Clark,
Vivian (Morris) Burns, Robert (Joyce) Bryenton, Gloria Ellis, Clifford
Bryenton, Irene (Doug) Gill, Bruce Bryenton (Bruce), Carolyn (Jim)
Lanigan, Janet Bryanton, Janette Bryanton and William Cousins. Also
survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter Georgie Caseley, brother Rendal
Caseley, sister-in-law Elaine Cousins and brothers-in-law Sutherland
Cousins, Jim Clark, Delmar Adams, Winston Bryanton, Charles Bryanton,
Paul Ellis, Erwin Bryanton, Alton (Jackie) Bryanton and
Wendell Bryanton who died in infancy.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home. Due to Covid
19 restrictions, no public visitation will be held. The
private funeral service will be available to watch online on the
funeral home’s website
after 3 p.m. Thursday October 1, 2020. Family
Flowers only. If so desired contributions may be made to the Prince
County Hospital Foundation or the International Children’s
Memorial Place.
