Obituary for
Dwayne Konsorada
With heavy hearts we announce that on Sunday, November 1, 2020, Mr. Dwayne Marvin Konsorada of Lamont, Alberta passed away with his family by his side. He was 66 years young and left us much too soon. Dwayne was a beloved husband, father, grandfather (Gido), brother, brother-in-law, and friend to all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 45 years, Rose; son, Dylan (Melissa); daughter, Jasmine; and baby grandson, Dominic. He also leaves behind to mourn his passing his brother, Arley (Shirley) Konsorada; his in-laws Marlene (Bill) Stefura and Bernie (Fraser) Sheptycki; and many nieces and nephews and their families. They will always be grateful for his endless devotion to his family and treasure his many years of love and selfless dedication to ensure their happiness and wellbeing. Dwayne was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Helen Konsorada; and his father and mother-in-law, Stanley and Angela Chiperzak.
From his humble beginnings in Chipman, Alberta, Dwayne put down roots, first in Edmonton and eventually in Lamont, to build a future for his growing family. He was dedicated to making their lives his priority and without a second thought often sacrificed convenience for stability and consistency. Recently retired from 33 years of dedicated service at Master Flo Valve Inc., Dwayne also found time to develop and maintain meaningful and lasting bonds with friends while pursuing his favorite pastimes such as curling and golf. Dwayne was a gentle man of few words, with much integrity and compassion. He was known to never turn down a good burger and happily indulged in anything made of chocolate. He will be greatly missed by both friends and colleagues alike.
A Funeral Mass will be officiated by Reverend Kristopher Schmidt on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with internment to follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Chipman, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the family appreciates your understanding that attendance will be by invitation only.
