Obituary of Dwayne Harris
Dwayne Harris of Langside, passed away surrounded by family, after a persistent fight with cancer, at Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, August 28th, 2020, at the of 44.
Beloved husband and best friend of Karen Harris (née Irvin).
Loving and proud father of Hunter and Kenzie.
Cherished son of Ray and Connie Harris.
Dear brother of Mitch Harris (Jenn) and Jo-Anne McEwan (Mike).
Missed by his father and mother-in-law, William and Shirley Irvin and sister-in-law Shelley MacDonald (Darcy) and brother-in-law Mike Sillib.
Dwayne was a special uncle to Renée, Trystan, Dylan and Malcolm McEwan, Jack and Carman Harris, Desiree, Sierra, Shyanne and Nevaeh MacDonald and Landen and Carson Sillib.
Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, friends and hunting buddies.
Predeceased by sister-in-law Lindsay Sillib.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Tuesday (Dwayne’s birthday) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Private Funeral Mass from Sacred Heart Church, Teeswater on Wednesday, September 2nd, with Father Michael Anderson officiating.
Due to provincial restrictions, you must register to attend the visitation, please call the funeral home (519-392-6011) to reserve your visitation time.
Final resting place, Langside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a Trust Fund (Education Fund) for Hunter and Kenzie would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy (cheques payable to Karen Harris – In Trust).
