It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our son Dustin Conrad (Leonard) Johnson on June 19, 2020 at the age of 48 in Vernon, B.C . We will forever remember the young boy with a zest for life, a passion for sports and the brightness in his big blue eyes. Your struggles are over and we are bringing you home. “I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)”.
Forever remembered with love by his Children Erik & Mia Johnson (their mother Misato), Parents Jerry & Sheila Johnson, Aunts and Uncles Loretta (Brad) Walsh, Kelly (Jan) Johnson, Judy (Roland) Langset, John (Kay) Johnson and his many beloved Johnson, Walsh and Langset cousins. He will also be remembered by his loved ones Larry Leonard, Sister Kassie and the many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from the Leonard family.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Carl & Pearl Johnson, Ernie & Ellie Johnson, Bruce & Donna Leonard and cousin Kristie Lee Walsh.
Thank you for everyone’s love and support during this sad time and through the years.
There will be no funeral.

  1. Your son was one of my dearest friends. I was never able to understand how he struggled as his zest for life and willingness to help anyone he could blurred the pain he was in. I know he loved you with all his being, that he believed he fell short of showing you, his children and those that were closest to him 😞 today we celebrated all that he was and how deeply he touched our lives, how proud you must be in that. I pray you are able to find some comfort in having raised a man who truly blessed us all! ❤️
