It is with deepest sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Wm. Penney Jr. at the age of 61. Doug was loved and respected by all who knew him, and a good friend to anyone and everyone – he was always there with a smile, to lend a hand to anyone in need. Family was very important to Doug. The love of his life, Laurie Ann, and his beautiful fur baby, Chloe were very near and dear to him. Doug loved his work. He was a man of principle and believed strongly in working hard and doing a good job. He was a member of the Harvey’s Home Heating team for 42 years and had great respect for staff within the Harvey group of companies. He was a hard working and dedicated distributor and business partner, who valued everybody. To Doug, customers weren’t just customers – they were friends.
