Obituary
Liinamaa, Douglas Robert, aged 56, passed away suddenly on August 30th, 2020 at his home in Pasadena, NL, following his courageous but successful battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his father Altie Liinamaa of Sudbury ON (March 30th, 2016) and his brother; Donald Liinamaa (May 16th, 2012).
Leaving to mourn and sadly missed by his loving and devoted partner in life Debbie Legge of Mount Pearl, and her son; Steven Renouf (Ieva), mother; Barbara Liinama, sister; Marilyn Carriere (Mark), and brother; Tim (Hope), nieces; Paige Carriere, and Willow Liinamaa, and nephew; Coulter Liinamaa of London ON. Loved and missed by extended family Reginald and Mabel Legge of Mount Pearl, and Dennis and Caroline Legge of Chance Cove, NL. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all the lives he touched during his far too brief time with us.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11:30 -12:30 am family and close friends and 12:30 -1:30 public visitation. Covid–19 restrictions in place. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
