1943-2020
It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Douglas Wylie Graham on
Sunday, March 1, 2020. Doug passed away at his home in
Southampton.
Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the
late Colin Graham and Clara (Ogilvie) Graham.
Doug worked for Ducks Unlimited for most
of his career. He loved spending time in the outdoors, often
hunting, and gardening.
He will be missed by his sons Daniel
(Sarah), Gander, NL, Matthew, Halifax, NS, and Eric (Kaitlyn),
Amherst, NS; their mother Bonnie Graham, Amherst; 3 grandchildren
Clara, Benjamin and William; sister Barb Graham, Windsor, NS; special
cat Puzzel.
In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his brother Dale; step father Almon “Bud”
Newcombe.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of the Jones Family Funeral
Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where
an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Friday,
March 6, 2020. All are invited to come to share memories and
stories. A graveside service for the family will be held at
a later date at the Southampton Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation may do
so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the LA Animal
Shelter.
