Obituary of Dougie Carson
CARSON, Doug (aka Dougie)
It is with heavy hearts and immense sorrow that the family announce the sudden unexpected passing of Doug Carson at the age of 49, who suffered a fatal heart attack at home. Paramedics and doctors at KGH were unable to save our hero despite their efforts.
Doug Carson (aka Dougie) was a well respected and very much loved retired veteran who served our country as a 291er during 1992-2010. A highly decorated veteran. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Janet, children, Marissa, Caleb, Cody, brother, Dennis (Lorie), sister, Lolly, brother, Ronnie, mother-in-law, Ingrid, nieces, Brooklyn and Emma. He was loved and cherished by so many friends, companions, members of CAF, neighbours and new acquaintances.
We will all miss his witty humour, that so many were blessed to be a part of. He was a selfless, loving and a hard working man to his family and to all that knew him. He brought a smile and laughter to anything and everyone he met. He was always there to lend a helping hand, so courteous, kind, very generous heart, always put others first before himself. An amazing dotting husband, dad, brother, uncle, and best friend.
He will never be forgotten and will always be remembered. We love you Dougie (dad) with all our hearts. He has left such a huge hole in our hearts and a pair of boots that will never be filled. Until we meet again, may you be our forever angel watching over us all. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Dougie Carson 2020..
Death notice for the town of: Kingston, Province: Ontario
Our deepest condolences to you Janet and family. Caleb and Cody have been the best friends to our son Aden, they had such connection as soon as we moved to Lucan. On several occasions Doug would take the boys sledding at the school they would come by and grab Aden to join. Doug was such a wonderful father and will be so missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
