Doug Weber September 11 2020

Douglas Elmer Weber, of Mount Forest, passed away on September 11th, 2020 at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with ALS. Loving husband of 50 years to Gayle (nee Lamont), father to Jerry and his wife Vanessa, and Trinda and her life partner Jason Annett. Cherished Poppa to Felicity, Natalie, Adam, and Grayson. Dear brother to Marlene Helmer, Ross Weber, Debbie and her husband Jim Lamb, Connie and her husband Bart Van Andel. Beloved brother in-law to Garry Lamont and his wife Louise, Don Lamont and his wife Norma, Rob Lamont and his wife Janice McDougall-Lamont, Margie and her husband Gary Schmidt, Glenn Lamont and his life partner Shelley Courtney. Predeceased by parents Erwin and Luella Weber, sister Judy Dinneen, brother-in-law Jamie Lamont, sister-in-law Bonnie Lamont. Doug was a hard working, fun loving man who enjoyed time spent with family, friends, and neighbours. He touched many lives, and will be sadly missed. Farming was his passion, and he spent his entire life on the family farm. He enjoyed raising beef cattle, along with any activity that included horses, and being an avid outdoorsman. He would do anything for a good laugh, and was always lending a hand to anyone, anytime. For Doug there was no place like home. The family would like to thank the many people and organizations who made it possible for Doug to remain at home with comfort and dignity. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at Cochrane Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Doug Weber September 11 2020..
