Obituary of Dorothy Seaman
Peacefully at Hannah Walker Place in Owen Sound on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Born in Owen Sound on October 31, 1925, Dorothy Marion Seaman (née Frank), was in her 95th year.
Loving mother of Gerald and his wife Susan of Mount Brydges, James and his wife Dawn of Ottawa, John “Jack” and his wife Janice of Owen Sound and Susan and her partner Tony of Weston. Cherished Grandma of Conrad (Beth), Eric (Stephanie) Aden (Laura), David, Nathan (Andrea), Tyler (Sheena), Tim (Monique), Mikayla (Nathan), and Great-Grandma of Ainsley, Owen, Jake, Thomas, Caleb, Gwyn, Idris and Merrin. Also missed by her dear friend Joy Stone.
Predeceased by her husband Delbert Seaman (December 2014).
A private family service will be held with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will take place at a later date when handshakes, hugs and love can once again be shared safely. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, ON N4K 3X8, 519-376-7492.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
