Dorothy Mildred (Rafuse) Swinemar
1934-2020
Dorothy Mildred (Rafuse) Swinemar. Age 85, of Martins Point, passed
away March 24, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital,
Bridgewater.
Born September 15, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Edward and
Bertha (Vaughan) Rafuse.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Chipman; son, Brian;
daughter-in-law, Faye; granddaughter, Amanda; grandson, Kevin;
brothers, Robert (Margaret Rose), Archie (Loretta), all of Martins
Point; Raymond (Nellie), Gold River; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceasd by her brothers, Lewis,
Edward and Theodore; sisters, Thelma, Florence and Eliza.
Dorothy, or Dotti as she was mostly called, will be missed dearly by
her loving family. She was a kind, loving and gentle lady, who gave
so much of herself to others. No visiting hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to Alzheimer
Society of Nova Scotia.
