Obituary
PYE, Dorothy Janet (nee Greer)- Peacefully passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, January 12, 2020. She demonstrated strength, courage, and determination up to her 97th year. Dorothy was the wife of the late Gordon Pye of Embro and mother of Sharron (Don) Magoffin of Sweaburg, Donna (Doug) Headrick of Renfrew, Linda (Flannan) Cooper of San Clemente, California, Ruth (Ken) White of Lindsay, and Pat (late Mike) Stevely of Woodstock. She is survived by her brother Larry Grier of Corunna and sisters-in-law Bernice Greer (late Richard) of Toronto and Vera Struyk (late Bill) of Woodstock. Predeceased by her siblings Louise Waugh and Merle Greer. Dorothy leaves 9 grandchildren, their partners, and 11 great-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004). A remembrance gathering for immediate family to honour her life will be held on Friday, January 17th, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
