Dorothy Harding, wife of the late Wilbur Harding of Tabusintac Nursing Home, formerly of Cains Point Road, Tabusintac, passed away Thursday morning, January 30, 2020 at her late residence, at the age of 96.
Born in Tabusintac NB, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary- Anne Harding. She was a retired cook for Mic Mac Salmon Club and a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by three sons; Wilbur Jr. Harding of Fredericton, Hayward Harding of Tabusintac and Wayne Harding of Tabusintac, one sister Faye Godine of Plaster Rock, two brothers; Carl Harding of Doaktown and Winston Harding of Plaster Rock, 12 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her beloved daughter Gayle Goodin, five brothers; Wilfred, Hayward, Clayton, Frank and Wilmot Harding, two sisters; Rita and Pearle Harding.
Dorothy Harding is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at United Pentecostal Church, King Street with Pastor Peter Long officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac in the spring.
