Dorothy “Dot” Muzzatti
Dot has gone peacefully to join her beloved husband Bill (2007). Fun loving mother and dear friend to Laurie (Bob Gibb), Bud (Marianne) and David (Sandy). Treasured “Nonni” to Robert Gibb, Katie Minardi (Franco), Lauren Allawahna (Abdullah), Will, Olivia, Elizabeth and Jack Muzzatti. Awesome “BeeZee” (great grandmother) to Bobby and Charlie Gibb, and soon to be baby Allawahna. Special Nonni to Raquel Cowan. She will join her younger brothers Donald and Kenneth in heaven, and she will be missed by Raymond (Carol) Dennison and sisters-in-law Elsie (Armand) Carpene and Joyce (Olivio) Favot. She will be forever remembered by Shirley Fellows, a dedicated “friend to the end”. Always loved and deeply missed by Dot are Marcia, Scott, Michael, Eric and Alex Fraser and their families.
Dot loved life… a good party, family and friends both in Windsor and Antigua. She lived her last few years in the compassionate and capable care of the incredibly kind staff at The Village at St. Clair in the Amherstburg neighbourhood. Her children will be forever grateful to all involved in her daily care.
Before her diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia, Dot was committed to helping children in the care of the Windsor-Es Children’s Aid Society and was instrumental in the building of The Bill and Dot Muzzatti Child and Family Centre at CAS.
Although Dot loved flowers and was an avid gardener, she would most appreciate donations to the Windsor-Es Children’s Aid Society in her memory.
