Dorothy (Dot) White
June 30, 1933 – April 17, 2020
White, Dorothy Cherry (nee Cake)- Passed away peacefully at her home “Heritage Square Retirement Living” surrounded by love with her niece Marjorie Kennedy and nephew Lloyd Jones on Friday April 17, 2020. Dorothy Cherry White aged 86 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Harry) White May 21, 2017; brother Leslie (Loretta) Cake and sisters: Mimie (Bernard) Martin and Millie (Sandy) Jones. Leaving to mourn her memories and her everlasting love her canine friend Maggie; brothers: Gordon (Late Lillian) Cake, Frank (Joan) Cake and David (Late Carolann) Cake; sister: Violet (Late Sterling) Ivany; brothers-in-law: Wince (June) White and Fred (Late Joan) White and sister-in-law: Joan (Dave) House. Also, many nieces, nephews, relatives and many wonderful dear friends. We would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at “Heritage Square Retirement Living in C.B.S for their exceptional loving care and support. Thanks to the Community Health Nurses for their exceptional professional compassion and care. And a special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sutton, Dot’s family doctor for his outstanding care over the past number of years. Due to the current Covid-19 public health advisory a private burial will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Dot’s memory to the S.P.C.A., she dearly loved animals. To leave a message of condolence please visit www.barretts.ca
