Doris Margaret Lavergne Gibson Friday November 6th 2020

Surrounded by family, Doris Margaret Lavergne (nee Gibson) was peacefully welcomed into the Lords arms at sunrise, on Friday November 6, 2020 in her 94th year. She is predeceased by her loving husband Milton Ernest Lavergne of 69 years. They are now together holding hands and dancing in heaven.
Loving mother to Barbara Carlson (Brian) and Anne Stalkie (Bruce). Beautiful and devoted Nanny to Erin (Dave), Shannon (Ken), Amanda (John), Kirk (Elizabeth) and Trevor. Exceptional Great Nanny to Dawson, Madison, Carson, Sawyer, Ryker, Hailey and Charlotte. We will cherish the lifelong memories made at Mississippi Lake.
The family would like to graciously extend their most sincere appreciation and gratitude to the memory care staff at Orchard View by the Mississippi Almonte, for their unconditional love, affection and compassionate care to whom they lovingly called “Momma”.
The family will celebrate the beautiful life of Doris privately and requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer Society or The Canadian Cancer Society.
“A family is a circle of love, not broken by a loss but made stronger by the memories.”
