Obituary
GENOE, Doris Louise – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Doris “Doss” Louise Genoe (Hillier) 88 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd (1994). Left with cherished memories are her brother, John Hillier, sister-in-law, Rosabel Hillier Beamish; Sons: Frank (Bonnie), Glen (Carla); and her daughter, Marilyn; Grandchildren: Stephen (Stacy), Brad (Elisha), and Brent; Great-grandchildren: Greyson, Sara, Abby, Jack and Amy; her friends at Mount Pearl Seniors Independence Group.
All of her nieces and nephews were so very special to her and she loved them dearly. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at Heritage Square Retirement Home and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, 7th floor East. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at The Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family and staff of Barrett’s Funeral Home encourage people to post their condolences, share photos, and tributes by visiting the online memorial guestbook at www.barretts.ca.
We are sending a dove to heaven with a parcel on its wings. Be careful when you open, it is full of beautiful things.
