FRANCOIS, Doris Lillian –
Peacefully entered into rest on Monday, March 30th, 2020 at the Belleville General Hospital. Doris Francois (nee Lacey) of Belleville died at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late John & Nellie Lacey (nee Flight) and cherished wife for 58 years to Daniel. Doris was the loving mother of the late Robert Bedford (Penny) of Keswick, Cheryl French (late Nathan) of Belleville, Diane Bedford of Hamilton and Katherine Head of Barrie. She was the dearest grandmother to her 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Doris is predeceased by her brothers Lawrence Robinson, Jack Lacey, Edward Lacey and Robert Lacey and her sisters Alma Legault, Joyce King, Gracie Lacey, and Helen Kane. Doris will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Doris’ wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Belleville Funeral Home & Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080).
