Doreen’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doreen Teresa Wheeler announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the age of 67 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Kenneth of 50 years. Her daughters, Kelly Wheeler (Joseph Vater), Jennifer Wheeler (Kirk Vaters). Her two grandchildren, Jessica Wheeler (Lloyd Rose), Jonathan Wheeler (Skyler Fewer). Great-granddaughter, Sophie Wheeler. Her dog, Bella. Brothers: Gary Greene, Leonard Greene (Karen), Darren Greene (Tracey), and Michael Greene (Kelly). Sisters: Maryanne McCarthy (Bernard), Margaret Barnes (Arthur), Kay White (Calvin), Judy Whiteway, Jeanie Greene, Gertrude Greene, Jamie Pittman (Kerry), Sisters In Law Emma Cook, Evelyn Wheeler, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Doreen was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Wheeler, her parents Florence and Carmelita Greene. Brother. Rodney Greene. Her parents in law, Arthur & Lillian Wheeler, brothers in law: Alberts Wheeler, George Wheeler, Joel (Jean Wheeler), Jack Wheeler (Sylvia), Henry Wheeler, Simeon Wheeler, Ron Cook. Sister in Law, Florence Locke (Roy).
A special thank you to Dr. Morris and Angela, Dr. Welsh, Dr. Healey, and Cancer Clinic Team. Dr. Bubtana, Dr. Rorke, and 3B Medicine Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private family viewing, funeral service, with cremation to follow, will take place at Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are accepted or memorial donations in memory of Doreen may be made to the St. Ambrose Anglican Church Fund.
