Doreen Eleanor Denny, age 89, formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Mitchell Nursing Home with her daughter Carolyne by her side. Born in Toronto, daughter of the late Don and Ester (Kring) Martin, predeceased by her loving husband Wilmer Denny (2002). Loving mother of Carolyne (Roland) Cluett, Ruthanne (David) Hannigan, Wylma Denny, Steve (Julia) Denny and Paul (Carolynn) Denny. Grandmother of Tammy, Shawn, Crystal, Andrew, Tricia, Christopher, Jeremy, Josh, Justin, Ron and Joe. Great-grandmother of Jayda, Austin, Vienna, Skylah, Zachariah, Chavah, Quincy, Rylee, Griffin, Poppy, Hawksley, Charlie, Grace, Joy, Ruth, William, Matthew and Porsche. Doreen will be fondly remembered by her brother David (Shirley) Martin, the Denny family and her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and her husband, Doreen was predeceased by her siblings Marjorie (James) Morrison, Bill (Ruby) Martin and Johnny Martin. Friends and family are invited to Doreen’s funeral service on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Bethel Church, 2988 Highway 7 & 8, Stratford, Ontario, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens (Hamilton) at a later date.
