  1. The time has come to say goodbye to another sister, the sister who for years I did not know she was my sister. As a small child I was confused. Is she my cousin, my aunt? After all she lived at Grandma’s house. Then she moved far away to Whitbourne. I remember Doreen visiting our house with her children Jean, Wayne and Marilyn who became playmates for Jean, Elick and myself. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this beautiful lovely young woman was actually my sister.
As adults we each led our separate busy lives but she always held a special place in my heart. I really enjoyed her phone calls, Messenger visits and Facebook photos and texts.

Doreen, I am so happy to call you sister.
You have so many loved ones in heaven, I know you are surrounded with love.
To your precious children and grandchildren I send my condolences and love. May God bless them at this difficult time, Josie

  2. To the Clarke Families, We were so sorry to hear of Doreen’s passing. Wish we could be there to support you in your loss. We enjoyed visiting her and Joe on our visits fromGrand Falls-Windsor. She welcomed us with open arms, and had a chat about hockey with Lionel. Take care and cherish the memories because they will become a treasure. Jean Sooley and Loretta.
