Donna Maie Krewenchuk September 15th 1939 August 14th 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Donna Krewenchuk at St. John Hospice with family by her side. Mom was born in New Westminster in 1939
Survived by son Darren, daughter Laura, grandson Mathieu, brother Bob, and many extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly. Donna was predeceased by parents George and Thelma, and husband Tom.
Donna lived her entire life in the Vancouver/Burnaby area. She was the model mother and housewife of her era, and an incredibly cheerful, selfless person spending the majority of her time taking care of others. Donna enjoyed her time spent volunteering at many of the local thrift stores in the area where she met many good friends. She also maintained close friendships from her high school years.
Donna loved gardening at her home of 40 years in Burnaby and in later years at her South Vancouver condo, she enjoyed taking in the river views. She enjoyed travelling, including many trips to California to visit her brother Bob and sister-in-law Jenny.
The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the health care professionals at the Leukemia/BMT program of BC and St John Hospice at UBC.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you donate to the above in Donna’s honor.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, you are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donna Maie Krewenchuk September 15th 1939 August 14th 2020..
