Thornton, Donald Roy
Passed away in the company of family on 3 August 2020 at Kingston General Hospital . Beloved husband and best friend of Edith (Strahl/Drew). Loving and proud father of Nancy Kent (Ron) of Middle Sackville, NS, and Catherine MacNeil (Ernie) of Bath, ON, proud grandparent of Katherine Kent, and Ryan and Erin MacNeil. Retired teacher of Technological Studies, Collins Bay/Frontenac Secondary School. A family memorial service will be conducted at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. , Kingston , 15 August 2020 at 1400. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the service must be constrained to immediate family only. The service will be live streamed please re-check on August 15th for the service link. A Masonic Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Internment will take place at a later date in Minnedosa, Manitoba. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice or to the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation of Canada.
