Donald Morley McLean 1929 2020

Obituary of Donald Morley McLean
Donald Morley McLean (“Little Donnie”) found his peace, surrounded by family, on January 16, 2020 at the age of 90. Born March 3rd, 1929 in Bethune, Saskatchewan, he was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Lydia McLean, his siblings Jack McLean and Gayle Payette, and his companion of more than 20 years, Norma St. Onge. Don is survived by his sister, Ethel Fisher; his children Beverley McLean, Daryl McLean (Shirley), Carrie Powell (Jack), Donna Pittman (Logan), and Lyndon McLean (Brook); as well as 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Mary McLean; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Providence Place St. Anthony’s Wing, Bonnie and the staff of Revera The Bentley and the doctors and nurses at FH Wigmore Regional hospital for their care. In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no funeral; a private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Don’s name to the charity most important to you and that you raise a glass of Labatt’s Blue to him. In living memory of a memorial planting will be made by Jones – Parkview Funeral Services.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donald
